The proposal intend to provide safer pedestrian access and crossing point to the school.
The main objective of the scheme is to improve footway connectivity to the school.
In order to improve the pedestrian access in and around school and to prevent obstructive parking and vehicle conflict in the vicinity of the school, the following improvements have been considered: build-outs with dropped kerbs and tactile paving to facilitate crossing and new double speed cushions to reduce the traffic speed in the junction and to facilitate pedestrian crossing.
