Consultation Summary

Cornwall Council intends to introduce a number of pedestrian improvements and facilities to allow safer passage through and around the B3309 between Crowlas and Ludgvan.

Background:

AECOM was commissioned by Cormac Solution Ltd in April 2023 to undertake a feasibility study to improve the community environment along the B3309 between Crowlas Crossroads and the B3311 at Castle Gate following several concerns raised by local residents. This feasibility study reviewed the existing traffic conditions to provide a design to create a safer passage for road users along the B3309. This consultation is the result of the feasibility study being taken forward to Prelim design.

Scheme Objectives

It is considered that the introduction of these measures will improve road safety and pedestrian access in the area.
