The Council and the South Sefton and Southport and Formby’s Clinical Commissioning Groups have recently undertaken a review of the Community Equipment Service. What was found was that there is an increasing demand for community equipment. This is in respect of the need to provide this to help people to leave hospital earlier than in the past whilst they continue to recover and to help people at home to remain independent.
